Rainbow Fire Coasters

Fire is so sexy, alluring, and dangerous. It provides our bodies survival needs by giving heat, protection,and community connection. It can also be the most destructive, and damaging force the world has seen. Burning, and turning everything it touches into ash, leaving blackness in its wake. Fire’s power and beauty is what makes it also so alluring, and where my love began. Well...that, and I am a fire sign...but that's besides the point. I love taking pictures of fire. It becomes a ceremonial moment in time for me. Time and this 3D world fade away as the flames dance for me. Seductively showing me different sides, patterns, swirls, pops, and crackles. This is my Meditative Art. It  brings me to the present moment. Connecting and tuning into myself,  and my higher self. (http://meditativeartschool.com/what-is-meditative-art). These still were taken by adjusting my aperture and shutter speed to allow only the light from the fire in.
