Winter Solstice Candle Light Sound Bath @ The Peoples Apothecary in Bend

Winter is meant to be a time of rest, and reflection. A time to slow down with Mother Nature , allowing stillness, darkness, and integration of the past year to take effect. This is also the time to clear out any old patterns or emotions that do not serve your present life goals. Thus creating the space to plant what you want to manifest during the upcoming year. Sound healing is a gentle, and loving way that can help you to do just that.

Sound Baths may assist your physical and emotional body in stress relief, better sleep, improved mood, deeper relaxation, heightening focus and energy, as well as providing a feeling of rejuvenation. I use 7 Chakra Colored, Quartz Singing Bowls to produce sounds including the tones of C, D, E, F, G, B, and A. While "singing", these bowls produce the perfect healing frequencies in 432 Hz. Allowing you to deepen your experience and connection with yourself. Assisting your brain to move into Alpha (relaxed brain state), Theta (deep relaxation), or even Delta (sleepy time ) during the Sound Bath. Let me say it again..... you do not have to do a thing for this to happen....just listen and be your awesome self.

Death of the old....so that you have space to rebirth yourself bigger, better, and more connected to your higher self. Our group intention will be to help ease our body, mind, and spirit into this natural change with ease and grace.

To create some beautiful ambiance , I will be setting up flameless candles all over the store for this sound bath. Candlelight symbolizes birth, death, resurrection, and sacredness. It also represents the light amid the darkness of life, your bright future, and the vitality of the sun.

Personally...this is a very hard time for me....my spirit finds it extremely difficult to slow down...my body to be still...and to go mentally inwards is a challenge for me. This year, I am taking the time to rest . Allowing myself to process, and integrate all that has happened within this year. I am honored to hold space for you during this sound bath so that you can do the same.

The Peoples Apothecary is a Naturopathic Doctor owned, modern apothecary, located in Central Oregon. They stock over 300 organic bulk herbs as well as 30 house-blended teas. With mindfully curated natural products for health and home, their mission is to make plant medicine accessible and fun for all. They work hard to support organic farmers whose values, integrity and love of plant medicine align with ours. They also host a variety of monthly classes and collaborations with local practitioners focused on health, wellness and medicine making. Dr. Ashley is a board-certified and Oregon licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) who has a passion for botanical medicine and empowering her patients with the knowledge and tools to get back to health and well-being.

This event will be capped at 10 attendees, and a waiting list will be made available if the event sells out. Please wear comfortable clothing, and show up on time to enjoy a cup of tea and cha with others before we start. Also, bring what you like to use to create yourself a comfortable nest or chill area in the store. Some suggestions would be a yoga mat, blanket, pillows, bolsters, eye mask, water, and journal.
